Westerbeke 108C Six Diesel Engine - Breathes New Life!

The heart of the hard working commercial lobster boat "Bollocks!" was given new life with the rebuild of her Westerbeke 108C Six diesel engine. The naturally-aspirated inline 6 cylinder provides power for the 25' T. Jason boat that was built in Steuben, Maine. The original 108C Six provided the owner and captain Paul Crowell - a commercial fisherman hailing from Marblehead Harbor - with over 28,000 hours of reliable service!  That's more than 1 million miles compared to typical automobile operation! Paul is steadfast on using original equipment replacement parts, so that, along with good maintenance and proper operation undoubtedly bolstered the amount of time clocked on his engine. 

The engine was rebuilt by our Master Distributor in Marblehead, MA, Hansen Marine Engineering.  Hansen Marine, a long time Westerbeke Master Distributor, specializes in marine propulsion and fuel injection. As you can see, the rebuilt engine looks brand new!
